Job description:

• Monitors data quality using the Data Quality Dashboard, analyzes deviations and/or negative trends in quality, performs analyses to identify causes, and develops/implements solutions for identified issues.
• Reports to data owners about data quality and informs/warns them in case of inability to implement quality improvements.
• Develops and maintains data procedures, data management processes, and data handling guidelines.
• Maintains assigned reference tables (relatively static data) and metadata/business rules in the Data Catalog.
• Exchanges knowledge within the organization or team named Data Guild, where collaboration focuses on Data Stewards (people responsible for managing and ensuring data quality within the business).
• Analyzes existing business processes and changes, and if changes affect systems (such as IT systems or software applications), is responsible for creating a functional design document that details how the system should function according to new business processes, i.e., technical and functional specifications needed for implementation.
• Discusses specific approaches and problem-solving solutions related to data quality or definitions with superiors.
• Coordinates and collaborates with data analytics and business intelligence departments, as well as colleagues involved in data architecture.
• Monitors data quality, data catalog, and business glossary.
• Manages the data catalog and data quality tool.
• Coordinates the Data Governance office.
• Provides support, training, business analysis, and education for Data Governance within the company
   

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, economics, business, or other related fields
• More than 2 years of relevant work experience in the same or similar positions
• Excellent knowledge of the English language
• Excellent proficiency in working with the MS Office suite
